Jeff Liotard grew up in Ripon, California, and graduated from Ripon High School in 1984. Those years were defined by football—four championship seasons that instilled a winning mentality he has carried throughout his life.

In 1985 he took his first steps into the working world with landscaping. The following year he began a 15-year career at the paper mill in Ripon. In 1988 he expanded into custom farming, shaking almonds and walnuts.

In 1990 he married his wife, Tevani. Their family grew quickly: daughter Mahlynn arrived in 1991, followed by Jaslynn in 1992.

At age 35, in 2001, Jeff bought his first pizza restaurant. Over the next 25 years he built a diverse portfolio of food-service businesses that included frozen yogurt shops, bakeries, bars, a full-service restaurant, and a coffee shop/juicing operation.

In 2002 he joined the Rotary Club of Manteca and was invited on a mission trip to Honduras in the aftermath of Hurricane Mitch (1999). The team provided eyeglasses to people who had lost nearly everything; for many, clear vision meant the ability to read their Bibles again. That experience deepened Jeff’s commitment to service. Through his restaurants and Rotary work he has continued to support vision care, prosthetic hands, and water filters.

The next generation arrived in 2017 with the birth of his first grandchild. Today he has four grandchildren ranging in age from 2 to 9.

Jeff retired in April 2024. In the first week of June 2026 he arrived at his oldest daughter’s ranch with his tractor to work the land. His son-in-law Steven was already established in the gold, silver, and coin business. Jeff asked if Steven would be interested in partnering; Steven said yes. They formed Lake Conroe Gold & Silver. A month and a half later, the business was up and running.
